Senior CapstoneSenior year, we were asked to choose a topic of interest which we would further develop into our capstone project. This included choosing an existing site, and to later compile a booklet which displays all topic research, site and building study, precedent studies, existing and updated design and drawings, a program, preliminary design criteria, a design solution, and focus chapter.

Fourth YearSenior Year Capstone is a year long investigation that explores the values and tools for a complete design project. Students are to develop a thesis that focuses on a problem and a solution for a built environment. Students dive heavily into codes and standards as well as a year-long research to support their design decisions. Students are to work with their instructor as if it were in an office setting. Senior Capstone combines all steps and areas of design to culminate a complete project.
